Head of Global Distribution
The Head of Global Distribution will be responsible for leading all facets of Stable’s global client business. Based in Stable’s NY office, this person will be responsible for identifying, building, and maintaining the firm’s global institutional relationships.
The Head of Global Distribution will identify and engage high-quality potential institutional partners for the firm, taking a strategic, consultative approach to these relationships. This person should have sophisticated knowledge of large and consequential institutional investors, knowing how and why Stable’s investment offering can fit into these portfolios from a long-term perspective, and will consistently develop and advance this investor pipeline. Due to the global demands of this hire, he/she should show strong experience in the key European, U.S. and Asian regions, and beyond.
This person will also work closely with the CEO to manage these investor relationships over time. This role requires a deep and technical understanding of a complex portfolio, and the capability and passion to communicate the current portfolio, objectives for the firm’s investments, and overall portfolio management activities. The Head of Global Distribution will develop close relationships with Stable’s clients and continue to build and expand these relationships over time.
The successful candidate should have and employ a strategic and commercial, yet highly thoughtful, approach toward these activities. Stable has plenty of continued runway for growth, and this person should have the experience and ability to continue to identify prudent, relevant ways in which it can continue to grow its product offering to clients.
Finally, this person will manage the Distribution & Investor Relations team. Currently, this is a 3-person team that is responsible for all support activities within the function. The Head of Global Distribution must have management experience, and must have the same organized, disciplined approach toward management that he/she has toward overall sales and pipeline management activities. He/she person should be not only a cultural fit but a cultural carrier over time, espousing the high-quality, highly collaborative approach that characterizes Stable as a whole.

- +10 years’ experience in a client-facing role within the alternative asset management space

- Commercial yet thoughtful approach toward product development, coupled with deep understanding of client portfolio needs
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team, and deep understanding and passion for putting together and optimizing the different functions within a client-facing organization
